Special Session on

Business Intelligent Applications and Technologies

 

 

AIMS AND SCOPE:

 

This special session of ICMLA 2010 is devoted to the use of intelligent techniques (including machine learning, data mining, artificial intelligence techniques) in business applications and technologies.

 

Nowadays many enterprises develop and apply various methods from modern machine learning, data mining, pattern recognition and statistics to build next-generation intelligent systems for business data analysis. These methods include techniques such as Graph Theory, Natural Language Processing, Matrix/Tensor Approximation, Social Network Analysis, Genetic Algorithms, Process Mining, Neural Networks, OLAP, Time-series Analysis, Stochastic Processes, etc. These techniques can, for example, help classify or aggregate a large amount of spend procurement data for spend management, analyze customers' feedback for customer relation management, analyze social network and marketing message diffusion for enterprise marketing services, mine production/service workflow for business optimization and prediction, etc. Business intelligent systems embrace a wide range of applications as well as research topics.

The ICMLA'10 Conference:                   December 12-14, 2010

 

 

This special session will be held as part of the ICMLA’10 conference. Authors should submit papers through the main conference submission website. Papers must correspond to the requirements detailed in the instructions to authors, available at http://www.icmla-conference.org/icmla10/.

All conference submissions will be handled electronically. Accepted papers must be presented by one of the authors to be published in the conference proceedings.
